I'm a writer and painter living in Columbia, SC. A shot on Tansi Island that lies off the coast of St. Helena Island, Beaufort, SC. The golden retriever's Colby, my sister's dog. I am a painter of robots, inkblots, and galaxies. I have worked for Harper's Magazine and for The Beaufort Gazette. I have lived in Columbia, Charleston, Beaufort, New York City, Iowa City, and Baton Rouge.
